  • Ole’s first time at the wheel
  • Another Premier League’s hit at Anfield
  • Mercedes’s Bottas and Hamilton next challenge in Bahrain

1. Boston Celtics - Indiana Pacers, Saturday 0:00 CET, TD Garden (Boston)

Both teams have already earned play-off spots and now they fight for highest possible place on the table. 45-30 Indiana and 44-31 Boston rather won’t make big jumps in Eastern Conference standings. Fourth placed Indiana is three wins behind Philadelphia and fifth Boston is six wins ahead of Brooklyn. Both teams will very likely meet in Eastern Conference’s first round so that's why in TD Garden we should have a teaser of what might be waiting for us in April. Stake is high - the team that wins on Saturday, will come closer to home court advantage.
OneHash prediction: Boston Celtics overtime.

2. Manchester United - Watford; Saturday 16:00 CET; Old Trafford (Manchester)

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer enters the new chapter of his career. On Thursday Norwegian has been appointed as Manchester’s United manager on a permanent basis. His test started in December and lasted only three months. Now he has three more years ahead. No wonder why. Under Solskjaer Red Devils regained their glow, winning 14 and losing just two of 19 matches. They will begin a new era on Saturday against eighth seed Watford, the best Premier League team with minus goal difference (42-44). Hornet’s last results against top teams didn’t make their fans optimistic. Why? Just watch highlights from 0:5 defeat to Liverpool from February or 1:3 to Manchester City from March and answer this question by yourself.

OneHash prediction: Manchester United 2 goals difference.

3. FC Barcelona - Espanyol, Saturday 16:15 CET, Camp Nou (Barcelona)

Fight over catalan capital continues and as always there’s no problem with pointing out favourites. Ernesto Valverde side is on their way to defend a title. 10 points ahead of second Atletico, no league defeat since 11th November, 12 goals scored in their last three matches - Barca is onto something big this season and Espanyol doesn’t seem like a team that could change this. Since the start of 2019 players from Estadi Cornella-El Prat won only two of the previous 11 league matches. Last time both team met on 8th December, Barcelona won the city derby 4:0 and Lionel Messi scored two marvelous free kick goals. Something tells us that history will circle on Camp Nou.

One Hash prediction: FC Barcelona 4 goals difference.

4. Ashleigh Barty - Karolina Pliskova; Saturday 18:00 CET, Hard Rock Stadium (Miami, Florida)

Saturday’s final against Karolina Pliskova can be a milestone in the career of Ashleigh Barty. 22-year-old Australian is considered as the slam-contender and after Miami for first time will proceed to WTA Top10. She’s in red hot form - in five matches in Florida Barty lost only two sets. Both ladies have split the previous four meetings. The most recent match was Pliskova’s win in last years US Open. Barty beat Czech two times on distance, while the two victories of Pliskova were decided in straight sets.

OneHash prediction: Ashleigh Barty.

5. Alaves - Atletico; Saturday 20:45 CET, Estadio Mendizorrotza (Vitoria-Gasteiz)

LaLiga’s 29nd round biggest hit. Alaves is 5th in the standings with only two points away from a Champions League spot while Diego Simeone’s boys occupy 2nd place. With 10 points gap to leading Barcelona they can only think about ending as runner-ups. Concerns about even finishing second only grow at Wanda Metropolitano with with each successive week. The team is out of Champions League after letting out two goals advantage against Juventus. After miserable night in Turin there was even miserabler evening in Bilbao, where Atletico lost 0:2 before national break. Alaves on the other hand has a decent six games streak with no defeat. It will be hard for Atletico to bring out some points from Mendizorrotza where the capital team scored only two goals in the last five matches. Although it was enough to win two of these games.

OneHash prediction: draw.

6. Liverpool - Tottenham; Sunday 17:30 CET, Anfield (Liverpool)

Two Champions League’s quarter-finalists and two of three best teams in Premier League - yep, the whole world is waiting for a big clash at Anfield. The Reds season is almost perfect (75 points already - the same as whole last season) but they can as well end it with no trophy. Juergen Klopp side have to win on Sunday to boost title hopes. Though charismatic German players are the leader’s of the table, any loss of points can practically bury their plan. Man City (two points and one match less than LFC) for sure won’t miss this opportunity. Despite that Liverpool has to believe, especially in ingenius form of Sadio Mane. Senegalese has finished his last 11 club games with 11 goals and another one on Sunday won’t be an eye-opener. Especially if we recall that Tottenham lost ALL of its last five away domestic matches with minus seven goal difference (three scored, ten lost).

OneHash prediction: Liverpool two goals difference.

7. F1 Bahrain Grand Prix; Sunday 17:30 CET, Bahrain International Circuit (Sakhir)

Round two of 2019 Formula 1 is heading to Persian Gulf. Last year’s Bahrain was dominated by Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari but this year’s world championship is probably written in the Mercedes stars. Winner of dramatic Australian GP Valtteri Bottas will be looking for his first-career two consecutive victories and the most serious candidate to prevent him from that is his teammate. Lewis Hamilton had serious bolid problems in Melbourne and now has a lot to prove in Bahrain. Especially to himself.

8. Inter - Lazio; Sunday 20:30 CET, San Siro (Milan)

Weekend’s biggest hit in Italy will again take place on San Siro. Two weeks ago Inter won crazy Derby della Madonnina and after 28 rounds sits on the lower platform on the podium with two points ahead of their city rival Milan. Everything in Nerazzurri side seem to fall into place. Problematic superstar Mauro Icardi returns to favor after one and a half month exile and probably will feature in squad against Lazio. Nevertheless, Sunday's game is not a lost cause for visitors. After dropping out of Coppa Italia and Europa League Lazio only thinks of Serie A and these thoughts are kind of positive. Romans won two of their last three league matches (eight goals scored, only two lost). It’s worth noticing that they already conquered Inter at San Siro, winning on penalties in Coppa Italia quarterfinals.

OneHash prediction: draw.
